I wrote a small tool in Kotlin to display a tray icon for unison. When unison syncs, the tray icon spins. If a warning or an error happens, the tray icon gets yellow or red. That way I know if something went wrong. If that sounds like something you need, check out Unison tray icon.

It should work on MacOS, Windows and Linux. All you need is a unison binary in your $PATH.
